Action:
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Settings' tab.
5) Drag the 'Desktop area' slider bar to the left.

NOTE: This increases the size of the desktop.
6) Click 'Apply'. (A 'Display Properties' dialog box appears confirming the size change process.)
7) Click 'OK'. (The size change will take place and a 'Monitor Settings' dialog box appears.)
